Ingredients
2 cups (280g) frozen blueberries
2 cups (480ml) 100% pomegranate juice
2 tablespoons (30ml) natural sweetener of choice such as maple syrup, agave, honey (non-vegan), or a few drops of stevia
1 cup (240g) ice cubes
½ teaspoon – 1 teaspoon matcha powder + 1 tablespoon hot water (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the matcha tea if using by whisking the matcha powder briskly into the hot water until fully dissolved. Allow it to cool.
In a high-powered blender, combine the frozen blueberries, pomegranate juice, cooled matcha tea (if using), and ice cubes. Blend until smooth and slushy in texture.
Add your preferred sweetener and pulse briefly to incorporate, adjusting to taste.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
