  • Author: July
  • Total Time: 12 minute
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

This recipe from Kittencal’s Foil-Wrapped Grilled Corn features tender and smoky corn cooked to perfection. The foil wrapping helps lock in moisture and flavor while grilling creating a delicious and easy side dish perfect for any barbecue or summer meal. The result is sweet juicy corn with a slight char that enhances its natural taste making it a crowd pleaser and a simple way to enjoy fresh corn on the cob.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup butter, very soft (can use less)
Seasoning salt to taste or white salt to taste
Fresh ground black pepper, optional and to taste
6 ears fresh corn, husked and silks removed
6 pieces heavy-duty aluminum foil, each about 13x12 inches

Instructions

Place each ear of corn on a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil
Generously brush each ear with the soft butter
Season lightly with seasoning salt or white salt and black pepper if desired
Wrap the corn in the foil sealing it loosely to allow space for expansion
Cut a very small hole in the foil to let steam escape
Grill the corn over medium coals for about 15 to 20 minutes allowing extra time for larger ears
Carefully unwrap the corn and serve hot
Enjoy

Notes

Keep corn wrapped tightly to avoid steam loss
Preheat grill well for even cooking
Turn foil packets carefully to prevent tearing
Rest corn briefly after grilling for better flavor
Avoid overcooking to keep kernels crisp and juicy
